Although two for one the meals are overpriced to begin with so not really a saving. Extensive menu both mains and desserts. Food was average, waitresses was very polite and accommodating.

Been coming here for a couple of years not on a regular basis but the occasional perhaps every three months trip. Generally been happy with service and food etc although last couple of visits have been slightly disappointing with the food being only Luke warm and not as good as previous visits.

I'm not one to complain there and then as I don't like having my food sent back into the kitchen to an angry chef so for me I will now just give it a miss for a few months and return in the hope it has upped its game once again.

Visited friends who lived locally and paid this place a visit for some food before venturing back up North. Firstly the children's waffles, nuggets and fish fingers had been fried within an inch of their life. All a horrible brown colour. What's up with a grill? I ordered nachos as a starter which was supposed to come coated in cheese, salsa and Jalepeno's. It arrived and the Jalepenos were missing and the sour cream was more like a double cream. I asked the waitress about the missing Jalepenos and she stated she didn't think they had any! Why wasn't this advised on order, during preparation or even delivery? I sent the dish back. Then my burger arrived and this was also missing the gherkins as advertised but at this point I'd lost hope and just plodded on.

Myself, my husband and two friends had lunch (a birthday treat for me) at the Sugar Mill on Mon 5 March 2018. 2 Sirloin Steak and 2 Scampi, followed by 1 Choc Indulgence Sundae, 1 Choc Bread & Butter Pudding,1 Apple Pie & Ice Cream,1 White Coffee. All meals enjoyed. Drinks and food served in a timely manner by friendly and efficient waitress Sarah C. We did notice that the wooden bars underneath the seats of the chairs at the table next to ours needed dusting!

Came here for a celebration meal as part of a large party. Cold food (fish and chips) poor service from staff. Will not revisit or recommend.
