I stayed here with a group of friends for my 40th birthday and we had a lovely time. The kitchen was well equipped, nice little courtyard which is shared but neighbours friendly and we could sit outside. We didn't have need for the fire(s), but were all able to sit down for dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed including a good supply of tea and coffee.
The rooms are really excellent - beds are very comfortable and we all had a fantastic night sleep, even after champagne! I would heartily recommend this to people wanting to explore the local area. We didnt get much chance but Melton is close by and worth a visit and we did manage the Sunday antique market and car boot which was good. Pork pies are also worth a try, particularly topped with Stilton!
