Staunton Harold has a great garden centre with tea shop and craft centres
There is a planned out walk around the estate although the hall is in private ownership, and not open to the public.
The church used by the earl Ferrer's family is a national trust property and is well worth a visit picnic areas a great outing to take the kids

Visited over Easter weekend with family. There's always something to do or see. Garden Centre with a very good eatery, plus the Gardener's Bothy. Other attractions are the Fish shop, ( tropical and cold water ). There's an Antique/Collectables shop, well as a courtyard full of well established, interesting artisan craftspeople.
Well worth a visit.

I forgot the courtyard craft shops are closed on Mondays, but it was so quiet and peaceful I decided to have a walk instead. So lovely.......This location just offers gorgeous scenic views in every direction. Take your camera. The grounds are well cared for, the lake is stunning, the big house(privately owned) is beautiful and church (although closed at this time of year)is a bit special. I`ll return another day soon.

Loads of space and secure environment to let dogs off the lead and the garden centre is pleasant to look around. Didn't venture to the main house or grounds but the nature trail was good enough. You can walk for miles. Shame that the restaurant / tea shop doesn't let dogs in bearing in mind how many dog walkers go there

I was fortunate to visit the house for a private charity event. It is very much lived in and enjoyed by the family. Thank goodness that this wonderful house and estate is in private ownership with people who care for house and land. A wonderful place to walk.
