The room was super lovely tidy and the clean. The room size was excellent comparing to other hotels in Preston this one is much bigger and cheaper. It has all the essential requirements. The hotel is in a great location, quite, peaceful and lovely.
The only thing the check-in time is 3pm so we had to pay £10 extra to check-in earlier. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows although under beds require cleaning.

Too hot to sleep. Staff offered s fan but this would have been too noisy. Uncomfortable children’s beds. Right next to local pub which was noisy. On a positive note good location easy to find after a few days. Sign from road is obscured so keep a close eye and look for petrol station on opposite side of road. Staff were nice.

TravelodgeUK, Ben from the Social Media Team at Travelodge Preston Chorley, responded to this reviewResponded 9 June 2018

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us at our Preston Chorley hotel.

We're pleased to learn you enjoyed the location of the hotel and you found the hotel team to be nice.

We are sorry to learn that the higher temperatures had a negative impact on your experience.

In our ongoing efforts to beat the heat, we do offer fans and lighter bed linen for guests at reception, however we fully appreciate and do apologise that you were not comfortable during your time with us.

We are also sorry to learn you found our pull out beds uncomfortable, we are currently in the process of replacing all the pull out beds in our hotels however we are sorry this affected your stay with us.

Your feedback is very important to us as it is the starting point we use to act on improvements and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

We found Travel Lodge at Chorley to be very clean and the staff very friendly and polite. It's an ideal place to stay if you want to go to Blackpool.
Also there is a nice restaurant next door called the Half Way House, which does excellant food and friendly staff.
We would definitely stay here again.

The Travelodge was easy to find. Had read other reviews prior to booking which said it was one of the older hotels. Thought we had been given a nice quiet room at the end of a ground floor corridor. Unfortunately as soon as the occupant of the room above arrived in their room , we could hear every footstep and when they went to work approx. 5a.m we were woken up with the noise. There are nice pubs in the local village, Avoid the pub Dantes its the most ive every paid for two pints of Strongbow £8.40 and a very tired looking venue.

Room Tip: top floor you can hear every footstep on ground floor

What more can you ask? It's clean and the staff are friendly and being a Travelodge it's great value for money. It's right behind a restaurant which makes it a little hard to find on the first occasion but being where it is means there's no traffic noise.

Room Tip: Always take earplugs for a restful night's sleep. Other guests can sometimes be a little inconsiderate
