“It doesn't get any better than this!”
Reviewed 17 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

What excellent holiday accommodation. Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. When one stays at accommodation that accepts pets (even having one ourself) one worries whether it will be spotlessly clean, et cetera. This was. It is a great credit to the owners and housekeeper that it attains and maintains this standard. Everything and everyone is catered for. The kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to self-cater and there are games/films to watch in the event of a rainy day. The pub across the road (the Rose in Bloom) is very handy indeed for a drink/meal and Whitstable itself (a 10/15 minute walk via the beach) a haven for restaurant goers. This is our second visit to Whitstable and we have sampled most of the restaurants. We have yet to visit one that we were not happy with. Cost-wise re the restaurants we were also pleasantly surprised, expecting the meals to be more expensive. Taxis to/from Whitstable, should you decide not to walk home, cost £3.80 to £4 one-way, again good value for money. I could go on and on about Hideaway. A visit will not be regretted for couples and families alike. As I said, it doesn't get any better than this!

“A pleasant base for a holiday”
Reviewed 8 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This place felt homely - you could imagine living in a place like this.
For us, it was a centre to spend time with a relative that lives in Whitstable and to sample the joys of a seaside holiday . This house was a good centre to explore the beauty of this region.

“Perfect cottage by the sea”
Reviewed 18 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

From start to finish, this was a great experience. We absolutely loved this beautiful cottage which offered every home comfort. The beds were so comfortable with luxurious bedding. And the stylish décor was just adorable. Centred right in the heart of Whitstable, and walking distance to every amenity. We savoured some great local food and enjoyed some lovely walks on the seafront. Jo was really helpful, and always available for any info we needed. We would definitely go back, it was a perfect place to stay for a holiday. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
