Visited Hampton Public House whilst out walking in the snow
Great pub selling cold beers and hot drinks with excellent bar/table food
Perfect location for beautiful seaside views from inside and outside seating in the summer month's

Started our walk here along to Herne Bay pier with our dog on a windy Sunday morning. The Hampton Pier area has a pub called The Hampton Inn and there is a free car park on the front. we walked from here to Herne Bay pier taking a look at all the painted beach huts that run alond the lower pathway. On the way back we walked along the road edge so you can get a view of the sea.

Easy access and next to a free car park (yes, free!). A few local photographers use the pier to take shots of the sunsets.

Lovely views of the windfarm. Sea all around. Boats, fishermen, things like that. Bit windy. Shingle beach. Good for kids crabbing.

Hampton pier is a small pier that probably doesn't quite make 50m in length . It is enclosed with metal (open) fences an is a popular place to sea fish (at least it seems to be from the number of fishermen that frequent it). Of greatest benefit is the free car park that abutts allowing you to explore the coastal path/promenade back to Herne Bay (follow the lower road) or onwards towards Swalecliffe
