“NOT A PIER IN MY VIEW”
Review of Hampton Pier

Hampton Pier
Reviewed 22 July 2016 via mobile

The pier? Isn't really a pier like the one down the road in Herne bay.this gets 2 stars and the area gets 5 stars.Beautiful views all around though and long walks with herne bay attractions near by. This is an extension of the pathway, all concrete, with railings around it and nothing special at all, as there is nothing on it. From herne bay, walk past the arcades, the beach huts, etc and Walk round the coast, it's stunning, but the so called pier really isn't worth special visit.

Small pier, more of a jetty. Not a lot to do for kids, but ok for an hour or two if you go for a drink in the pub opposite. Would combine this with a walk towards Tankerton on a nice day.

Small pair, but great when the tide is out for crabbing.
Easy free parking little old school pub very close buy.
The sun sets are amazing and great park just along the road.
Nice place with the kids and packed lunch for the day. -x-

A nice small pier just west of bustling Herne Bay. No amusements on this pier, just a few fishing and crabbing and taking it easy before perhaps having a drink in the Hampton Inn.

Nearby Hampton Inn if you want a pub lunch and a playpark over the road for the kids - green for the dog to run - lovely walks - DO WATCH OUT FOR PARKING THOUGH !!! = Have ended up with a ticket before now .....
