“High quality accommodation in a superb location”
Reviewed 5 October 2011 for a stay in September 2011

The attention to detail in this property is outstanding, everything has been thought about, and it is spotless. Straight away it felt like home. The view is just lovely, and the area is very quiet - most of the time the only sound we could hear was the tolling of the bell on the buoy moored off Sconce Point. The neighbours made us very welcome, including our dogs, (in fact we found just the islanders is general to be exceptionally friendly). It is a short walk into town, where you can pick up all the basics.

“A spotless, well appointed, piece of paradise on the isle of wight”
Reviewed 25 September 2011 for a stay in August 2011

We stayed in Fort Victoria Cottages in August 2011. The cottage was exactly as the description said, a little piece of paradise on the Isle of Wight. The cottage was very well appointed especially the kitchen so very easy to cook all our meals. We have a toddler so it was ideal for us. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the sitting room had the added bonus of various games, books and dvd's - great for an unexpected wet day! The cottage was immaculately clean as well. Outside, the communal green in front of the cottage was perfect for kicking a ball and running off some toddler energy. The location of the cottage was great, an easy and picturesque walk into Yarmouth, and very easy to get round the island by car. the views from the cottage are just to die for, so peaceful to sit in the evening watching the boats enjoying a glass of wine.

A beautiful cottage in a very quiet relaxing area with outstanding views .
The rooms are a very good size with lots of storage and very nicely decorated and very clean.
The location is good and local amenities only a 5 min drive away .
I would recommend this cottage to any one looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful quiet area .

“Fantastic cottage in great location -well worth a visit!”
Reviewed 7 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

My wife and I stayed in the cottage with our three kids. Whilst the cottage is small, we never felt cramped and had plenty of room. It felt like a real home from home with great views of the fort and Solent.

The surroundings were quiet as it's far enough out of Yarmouth that you don't hear traffic or pubs but close enough to walk to or use as a base to run along the Coastal path. With a sandy beach less than 5 minutes walk away and a countr park outside the back door, you couldnt ask for more.

Truly perfect!
