We spent a week here in early September, we had a nice stay. The place is much bigger than it looks on the website, with large rooms that are very well presented and comfortable. The bedrooms are large and spacious with a large king size double bed that we both slept very well in.
The kitchen has everything you need for self catering with washing and drying machines and a dishwasher. We went to Wallers butchers in Ledbury for our meat, which is first class, so we ate in most of the time.
We took our dog, who loved the back garden and didn't want to come in.
Even though the owners live on site, they left us alone and were both polite and friendly when we did meet. Most of the time we didn't know they were there.
Overall a great place to stay, it takes a bit of research to find things to do in the area, but we found something to do most days.
The White Coach House is a wonderful place to spend your holidays.
We stood here for 18 days and had a great time. There's a lot you can do in and around Hereford or you just stay in the nice garden or go for a walk along the fields.
Sarah was always very friendly and courteous.
We will cetainly return sometime.
Very fine accommodation in good location - handy for the city and the very pleasant nearby countryside. We particularly liked the totally secluded garden and the fine weather. A very enjoyable stay.
We have just spent a very enjoyable long bank holiday weekend at The White Coach House at Lugwardine. It is a good quality holiday home, clean, well equiped and in a perfect location to enjoy the nearby attractions, with a friendly local pub an easy 5 minute stroll away, the lunchtime menu is quite extensive and reasonably priced.
The fully enclosed garden at White Coach House was the icing on the cake for us and enabled us and our 2 dogs to enjoy the glorious weather to the maximum.
A previous reviewer has made comments regarding the owners 2 dalmatian dogs. Whilst we understand some people may have a fear of dogs, we feel the comments were somewhat exaggerated. The dogs are neither overly large (think medium/large collie size) nor did they show any signs of aggression, in fact they are both friendly, placid and nothing more than mildly curious when strangers arrive.
Finally many thanks to Sarah and Paul the owners who proved to be the perfect hosts, we will certainly be looking to return in the future.
