“Lovely”
Reviewed 2 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed as part of a 4 day break in the New forest. The first thing I will say about booking this accommodation was that we were able to book securely via trip advisor and PayPal, you hear of so many horror stories about people getting ripped off with private rentals, that was a must for us. We had great comms with the owner (Lynn) prior to arrival, about how to get there, how to get in, what we would like to eat as part of our B&B. My husband also asked questions about local cycling and horse riding and she was very obliging.
We found the place relatively easily to find with a sat nav and its really gorgeous. Beautiful location, very peaceful, quite remote and private. Ponies roaming on the green across the road. The cottage/chapel was very cute, separate from the house and tastefully decorated inside with a log burner. Visiting in March it was cold at night so we lit the log burner and the under floor heating was a nice addition, especially in the bathroom. We travelled with our young daughter so Lynn provided us with a travel cot which was in excellent condition (we brought our own blankets) and it was all set up when we arrived. We met Lynn later and she is very friendly and nice. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and a real treat before some busy days ahead.
This is the first time we have stayed in somewhere other than a hotel on holiday and I can say we really enjoyed it. The only thing I missed about not being in a hotel here was a made bed and a clean around each day.
I think if we travel to the New Forest with our daughter again we might need somewhere a bit larger but I would love to stay again with my husband.

“Short break”
Reviewed 2 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We have just had a couple of night away at this lovely little hideaway spot.

So quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent. All very fresh and delivered to the door.

Nice little wood burner and everything you need for a quiet break.

“Absolutely AMAZING!”
Reviewed 5 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We booked a four night, midweek trip away to the New Forest and chose to stay at Burt's Chapel.

When we arrived it was a cold wintery day but the little Chapel was warm thanks to the underfloor heating. The Chapel is extremely clean, very comfortable with lots of little extras. It's also bright and very tastefully decorated whereby it's modern and rustic all at the same time. We were very very happy with our choice.

The lovely owner, Lynn, came and introduced herself and explained about the breakfast. There's a lovely slate slab by the main house door which you can write on with chalk. It was very handy for letting Lynn know what time we wanted breakfast etc.

Now the breakfast....WOW! Nothing was too much trouble. My husband has to be dairy free at the moment and Lynn went the extra mile to ensure he had a wonderful dairy free breakfast. There was so much beautiful food including delicious homemade bread, fresh fruit, pain au chocolat etc, and each day we squirrelled away the croissants for snacks on our walks.

Our whole stay was simply wonderful. We cannot recommend this B&B enough and the location is perfect.

Thank you for such a blissful holiday, we'll be back as soon as we can.

“Wedding Bliss”

We booked for our wedding weekend, at the nearby National motor museum. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. You are welcomed warmly and with so much care and attention to our stay. The actual property is beautifully decorated with lots of little touches to make it special. The shower is amazing. Everywhere was immaculate. The breakfast provided was top notch and hard to finish all that is provided which is unfortunate as it was all so delicious!

There is nothing that we could criticise about Burts Chapel and it made our wedding stay a beautiful, magical experience.

Hopefully we'll be back for an anniversary soon
