“Absolutely Brilliant as always”
Reviewed 17 July 2016 for a stay in September 2015

We went back to Old Bridge Cottage again, i cannot remember how many times we have been there now and we have booked for 2016.
It has something for everyone from children wanting to splash around in the outdoor heated pool to the oldies wanting to just relax in the hot tub or take a sauna or even do some fishing from the private bank, we had several Pike, Chubb as well as others.
Ringwood is just a stroll up the road where it has most shops for everyone's taste.
Very well equipped, plenty of parking and does what it says on the tin.
Although I love it there here are the downsides :(
Noisy main road opposite although you do get used to it.
If too many on the wifi at one time it just jams up.
The other downside is having to leave at the end of the holiday.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
Overall condition of the property Bedding & mattresses
Kitchen & utensils Bathroom cleanliness
Other facilities & amenities Service

My dear friends
Great to have your thoughts . Not much we can do about the road noise though once in the protected garden we hope it is not too much of an issue. Hope that the pool hot tub and sauna take your mind off anything to distract from the liovely surroundings and hope ypu enjoy your next stay
Kind regards

“Best place for a group New Forest/Poole - Absolutely fantastic...”

Just returned yesterday from Ringwood. We are a group of friends who love our forest breaks once a year. This year we stumbled on this property online while looking for places to stay near New Forest. We were 5 families that included 7 children, aged between 4 and 13 years.

This is a fantastic place and my reasons are:

1. Very well explained message to reach the property and get our keys. Its a 90 mins drive from London.

2. Its a huge property: 1 open plan kitchen with dining table, a reception room next to it with books in it, another huge dining table at the entrance room, a huge TV (flat screen) with sofas to sit - all on the ground floor. Upstairs on floor 1, there is an ensuite single bed box room, 1 double bed ensuite room and 3 more large twin/double bed rooms all sharing a large bathroom. I am not done yet :)

3. When you go outside to the garden - its massive, the best part is the open air heated pool ( a rarity in this country). It was awesome. You then enter a separate thatched cottage - where there is a double bed, a Jacuzzi (first class), a sauna room (brilliant). What I loved is that the cottage opens into a wooden deck on the back side where River Avon flows. So you are right at the edge of Rive Avon and can enjoy your quite morning tea or a session of beer with friends in the evening. Its absolutely serene n calm and far away from the hustle and bustle of a busy London life. When we entered and explored the property - we absolutely loved it.

4. Then began our long time in the pool - till 2 am at night - music and water polo and a lot of fun with friends and kids.

5. Next day we went to the Poole Waterfront and Poole beach which is 30 mins drive. Poole is a beautiful place with restaurants, pubs and the beach. Its got a stunning water front.

6. Ringwood is a beautiful market town. Within 5 mins drive to the property - there is a Cooperative food, a huge Waitrose and a Sainsburys. So whatever we needed, was a 5-min pick up.

7. Very easy to access 'Moors Valley Country Park' as well.

All in all we had a beautiful time and would love to return to this place. The memories for the weekend break will be permanently etched in my mind.

The owners are lovely as well. They helped a lot whenever we gave them a call for any information required.

“Fabulous week in an amazing house!!!”

My family and I have just returned from a week at Old Bridge Cottage in Ringwood and we had the most amazing time!! The house is absolutely fantastic, so large and roomy for all of my family members. The children loved the heated pool and we were lucky to get nice weather and enjoy the fantastic garden, hot tub and sauna!!
No one wanted to leave and we will definitely be returning, the house is so homely and comfortable and so well equipped. Everything you could need was there. All bedrooms are a good size and have access to a bathroom with many en-suite. The dining areas are lovely and spacious and the living rooms are so comfortable with plenty of seating. We honestly cannot recommend Old Bridge Cottage highly enough. Ringwood is a lovely town which is a few minutes walk from the house, it has a lovely range of bars, restaurants and unique shops.
Thank you so much for such a perfect week! We will be back!!

Great place for 15 family members, including seven boys under six, to meet up. Plenty of space for the boys and the swimming pool was an added extra.
Position of the house central to the town and near to the coast for us all to enjoy a day on the beach. Looking forward to re-booking
