A group of us stayed here for a weekend break.
The lodge was really clean & has good facilities. We knew the local area as we don’t live too far away but it’s ideal if you want a nice break away from everything.
We didn’t realise the hot tub was optional so I obviously missed this in the description so we had a last minute panic but we paid the extra & although it wasn’t hot enough on the Friday it was hot by Saturday morning.
There’s a microwave combi oven and a 2 ring small electric hob for cooking.
Would definitely recommend for a small group or anyone travelling with a child. The garden is large and has a trampoline and table/chairs for when weather is nice so ideal.
Lovely little house in ideallic New Forest setting. Easy access to everywhere in the New Forest. Lots of amenities incl trampoline for kids use, hot tub, and gaming, internet technology, monsoon showers, purple lighting round kitchen worktop for fun.
Only issue is the 83 page document that gets sent through after booking/payment with all the info, clearly relates to the owners other property which is next door. The only useful thing we found in 83 pages was the Wi-Fi password!
But we generally loved staying here and would book again and reccommend. Had a great time.
We came here on the 20th April for a 4 night break and to do the Southampton half marathon on the 22nd. The cottage was perfect, clean, new with lots of features. The garden led straight out into fields and woods out from the back, beautiful walking and running areas all around. The only problem we had was the hot tub was broken otherwise this would be a 5 star rating. But that I think was a one off and bad luck. We would go back in a heartbeat. Happy times.
We contacted Ian to make sure it was OK to stay with our dog he replied swiftly and with all the information we needed. Booking was simple and efficient. This property was cheaper than several we looked at but I would honestly say it was great quality and fab value.
Very private with a fab decked area table and chairs and a private garden. The beds where amazing ( I sell beds for a living and I'm fussy!) pocket sprung with toppers on and huge.
We played on the Xbox a few times not something we have at home but it was fun. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and the doors out to the deck are bi-fold and it was lovely having them wide open listening to the birds.
I enjoyed a relax in the huge bath in the evening before heading out to a pub for drinks and dinner.
Old reviews have complained about the garden and a smell but it has all been rectified it had rained loads before we got there and the grass was wet but no smell, nothing nasty out there !
I will return here for another short break we really enjoyed our stay - Fordingbridge is minutes away with a large Co-op takeaways pubs little shops and Ringwood is 15 mins with Waitrose, Sainsburys and tons of amazing restaurants. We prefer the rural pubs where we could take our dog and we visited several, we where always welcomed and had a a lovely stay.
Fantastic accommodation modern interior sonos in every room telly the size of a cinema what more do you need!
Great location to get to Paultons Park and short trip to the nearest shops would highly recommend.
