This has to be the worst travelodge I've stayed in (and I've stayed in at least a dozen over the country on about 30 different occasions). It's grotty, the staff are outside "having a fag" every time you need them and then make as if they are doing you a great favour to come and answer your query.
It is situated between TWO main, noisy roads AND has a railway line right at the side of it.
The rooms are tired - the windows open barely an inch so on hot days are stifling (in the current heat wave I entered my room and the heating was switched up to high which meant it was stifling in there!)
They say they have accessible rooms but they don't - this is a complete lie - they have a bath and an overhead shower so it is not accessible by the elderly and/or disabled people.
I hate the place. It's a real dive.
Oh and the restaurant next door sells very bland food at extortionate prices.
I will not be returning to this travelodge and, having read the response to my complaint, I won't be going back to ANY travelodge nationwide.More
