Village location with all the amenities you need with two minutes walk. A cosy end-terrace cottage that is bright and airy and a first floor deck that holds great promise if you're lucky enough to be there in the summer. Well equipped kitchen with utensils, pots and pans, plus a dishwasher, aided by a great 'starter pack' of bread, orange juice, cake and wine. Off-road parking within a few metres on the owner's property. BT Infinity helped as I was here working. Open fire and logs will make for very pleasant winter evenings. Excellent - recommended.

A beautiful cosy and clean cottage which is in the lovely village of Westbourne with all the amenities you could want. Avril greeted us with a warm welcome and provided us with essential items - milk, butter, bread, orange juice as well as wine and flowers! We have had a great holiday and would definitely stay again.

Despite the location in a vibrant village with all services + supermarket at hand (only 2 min walk) the appartment proofed to be surprisingly quiet.
A nice additional surprise:
we didn't expect to find some fresh food in the appartment - there was plenty for the first 24 hours of the stay in the kitchen.
Tip for Trip Advisor: please correct location of the appartment on your map.

As 2 adults and 2 teenage girls we stayed for 3 nights in this lovely holiday cottage in the pretty village of Westbourne. Avril was the perfect host, and provided a very much appreciated welcome pack full of scrummy goodies! The cottage has 2 good sized bedrooms (one with a fabulous, large north-facing veranda); lounge, kitchen and downstairs bathroom. The decor is bright and cheerful throughout, and everywhere was immaculately clean. The master bedroom has a huge library of books , and the cottage Wi-fi is speedy. Off-road parking is available for 1 car. The village has all you could need in the way of shops, plus lovely pubs, an Indian restaurant and amazing fish & chip shop. We would definitely recommend Bay Tree Cottage.
