Last Tuesday,in really high temperatures, we took our grandchildren to Aldershot Lido for a cooling dip. Although all the adverts said it was open from 27th May, it turned out that it meant only at weekends....not that any of the adverts said that. Staff told us that this was always happening, but they didn't open all the week until school holidays...why isn't this advertised???? On a boiling hot day , it is a bit much to drive over & be told that. Rubbish service.....wake up Aldershot Lido!

Used to be brilliant. Now they let in hoards of travellers kids who run riot! Take over all the pitches, football areas n are complete pain. Need security n some order. Disgusting!

Really nice place to hang out when the weather is hot but, even then, the water is really cold. Plenty of space inside to lay a picnic blanket etc but parking is a problem at peak times in high season and the council pop over knowing they can issue tickets to generate a sizeable revenue.

Loved the idea of being a member and being able to swim when ever I want.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff so helpful.
When I'm having a bad day and need lifting into pool then staff are happy to do so.
Water in pool not always as clean as I like it in the Lido. In the in door pool it's always very clean.
Be nice if it had hot tub but all in all it's a great place to relax and swim when the kids are at school supper quite.
