Stayed as part of a group. Rooms OK but in need of updating as was the bathroom. The bed however, was amazing, really comfortable! The restaurant staff although very nice and helpful were not being guided by management and that left many shortcomings over the days we stayed there. However, the days we had the carvery the food and service improved and I thought the food was quite acceptable although nothing special. Wouldn't rush back!

Room tip: Ask to be moved if you are given a room overlooking the car park, sooooooooo noisey

Overall a good stay, but the rooms are becoming tired and the bathroom was only just acceptable, not 4*.

Service was good and staff all helpful.

Breakfast was really good, @buy one get on free offered at reception (not on-line)

Free parking. Service station over the road, and late night takeaway.

Nice hotel in a great location (£3 return on Metro into the city centre) from across the road. Friendly, efficient staff who upgraded us to a quay side room which is away from traffic noise. Great views with four opening windows. Decent sized room with great view over the Quay. Conformable bed, good shower and good choice at breakfast. Free standing fan for warmer nights. Plenty of complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee/biscuits and fridge/mini bar.

Free parking.

Some of the décor/furnishings slightly dated, but of good quality. Don't let this but you off, I do recommend this hotel despite that.

Room tip: Quay side rooms, e.g. 306

Stayed here as this was close to the Lowry Theatre.
Never again!
There were stains on the carpet, dirty bathroom with mild along with a number of other issues.
Very glad this was only 1 night!
Will pay more to stay somewhere else next time
