What can I say? Fantastically friendly staff at reception, great room, spotlessly clean, decent breakfast and excellent value for money.

Everything you'd hope for from the brand plus the added bonus of genuinely good staff.

Would definitely use this hotel again if I were to visit Manchester.

On arrival ther is a good car park, and our welcome by the receptionist was very good, she was informative and helpful
My room was what you expect from Holiday Inns and I had a wonderful view of the quay
There are loads of restaurants within walking distance and a nice outside area at the hotel
My only very small criticism was when we tried to get a drink at the bar, there was quite a few people doing the same
as the receptionist was covering the desk and the bar, so a long wait to get served but this would not stop me staying there again

Dear Danny M,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay with us at Salford Quays. It is great to see that you received a good welcome and liked the views the hotel has over Salford Quays. We are lucky to be in such a beautiful position and to have our own terrace on which to enjoy drinks in the sunshine!

I would like to apologise that you had to wait a while to be served at the bar due to there being only one person on the desk at the time. This is not at all usual and seems to have occurred as the other person on shift was called to resolve an issue upstairs. I hope this would not put you off staying with us again and giving us the chance to improve on your experience at the bar.

Kind regards,
Jennifer

If you are looking for a welcoming stay at a hotel that is clean tidy and fresh. The this hotel will not let you down. Having spent time here recently I found the staff very helpful and made you feel like they wanted to make you feel at home. I went to the restaurant locally 5 mins walk and was amazed at the positioning of the hotel literally on the quay!

I stayed here for work purposes for one night in July.

This hotel is in a fantastic location on the waterfront. There's plenty of bars and restaurants around and the staff were very helpful.

Notable employees - Tim Phillips who checked me in was a very polite and helpful man who I would certainly have gone to had I needed any extra help.

Bed was comfortable although the pillows not so much. They are usually too big to have one on top of another - and I've tried their 'soft' and 'hard' pillows and can't see much difference. So I had to stick with the one which was ok after a while. This would have been the only negative to be honest.

Breakfast was good, buffet full English.

Car park is £4 per Stay which is reasonable.

Fantastic location - helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely book again.

Dear OBrewer1,

Thank you for your great review! It is wonderful to see that you enjoyed your stay so much and in particular singled out Tim for his excellent service. Tim is with me at the moment and I have informed him of your kind comments and he is delighted to hear he made such a favourable impression. It is also great to see that you enjoyed your breakfast, which is included in all our rates and has four hot items of scrambled egg, sausage, beans and bacon in addition to our continental selection.

I am also pleased that you enjoyed our excellent location on Salford Quays, we are very lucky to be right on the waterfront. I hope that we get the chance to welcome you back very soon.

Stayed there with my children for a night to catch a Manchester United football match. Hotel is small. Rooms are small and unpretentious. Breakfast included. Overall it was exactly what I had expected / paid for. 20 min walk to the stadium.
