Central Park is just off the main drag through the centre of Chelmsford & is a lovely place to take a walk along the river. There is also the lake near the railway viaduct where you can sit & watch the water birds etc. There are also lots of tables
around too where you can have a picnic with the children & a play area where they can enjoy themselves.

It is a park very nice and well maintained. There are many games areas for children and kids (such as table tennis and soccer field, basketball field..)
There is also a bike path and many tables for a picnic.
I really liked it.

If you're in Chelmsford take a visit to Central Park and Bell Meadow, it's a lovely place in the city centre, great for kids and adults alike.

The gardeners do a wonderful job as the park is very well kept, the lake is really nice, this is just the place to have a picnic, give it a try I would recommend it..

A great green space near to centre of Chelmsford.

Relax away from the crowds in shopping centre.

Stroll at a leisurely pace to rebalance life rhythm.

Jog to gain fitness whilst breathing green air.

Nature nurtured in city centre. Pleasure aplenty.
Time treasured.
Peace personified.

Best part of my day. Wildlife on the river and lake which is much improved since the "fountains" were installed. Sky blue pasture is unfortunately usually strewn with rubbishy from the jollies the nigh before as people can't be bothered to walk a few steps to the bins
