I went to the lighthouse during a visit to Southwold, the admission cost is £4 but is well worth it for the views at the top. The lighthouse is only open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 - 4 PM. The lighthouse now uses LED's for the main light. Recommended.

What a pleasant trip. Went with a local group of children and it was a pleasure to tour. No hurry and the talk was informative. From the top the views are glorious.

Have been visiting Southwold for many years and this trip coincided with the lighthouse being open. A first class tour guide Jan - Excellent delivery, very knowledgeable and very interesting. It is well worth the 100 steps to the top - the views are fantastic and well worth the £4 entry fee. Highly recommended.

Visited Southwold coastal town. What a beautiful place. Lighthouse is in land in between house. You can only take a tour of the lighthouse at certain times of the day between 2-3pm. Well worth a look it’s amazibg
