Great cinema/theatre. With bags of charm and character and surprisingly comfortable. Well worth a visit.

What a fabulous afternoon of songs, laughter, music and dance. Thank you for putting on such a brilliant show.
Easy to park, clean and welcoming cinema/theatre. A wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon.
Loved Andy Leach and Andy Eastwood, just awesome

A friend and I regularly visit the Leiston Film Theatre to see. films,Live Streamed concerts, live performances. It's a wonderful cinema and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The building is a bit like a Tardis. It looks quite small and pokey from the outside but when you get inside - Wow. There is a choice of regular seats, cuddle seats and premier seats. All are very comfortable and the regular seats have good leg room which is not the norm in bigger cinemas. There is a bar and they sell coffee, sweets and ice creams, so you miss out on nothing. To cap it all the prices are far cheaper than big cinemas. They publish quarterly programmes and you can book at the cinema, on the phone or online. You can pick your tickets up when you attend or have them posted to you. It is just a fabulous experience and anoyher bonus is that if you go to an evening performance the parking over the road is free. What more could you ask for. Everywhere is meticulously clean and the loo's are very glamorous. I hate going anywhere else now. Do try the cinema you really won't regret it

We visit the Leiston Cinema on a regular basis and always enjoy the experience. The staff are friendly and the choice of films is very good for a small independent cinema. Prices offer good value so why go anywhere else!

We are so lucky to have this locally. It was set up in 1914 and has been beautifully restored/maintained. In spite of its size it is a curiously cosy venue. The welcome from all the staff is personal and you feel they are genuinely pleased to see you. The rear seats are the most capacious I have ever seen. I believe they are called the ‘cuddle seats’ and on some occasions you are given a glass of prosecco and a chocolate. Marvellous! It has a wonderful variety of events. Last night it was a Burlesque show and enormous fun. The last time it was an opera beamed life from a Roman outdoor venue.
I really enjoy this place very time I go and thank you to all who make this little jewel in Lewiston’s crown possible.
