We had a nice welcome upon entering and goodbye when we left. The meal was freshly cooked and hot, and dessert was very Moorish. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and very shiny. I am really unable to fault.

Finding wheat free food in restaurants is difficult especially in an Italian. Prezzo do provide gluten free pasta but it is not great and all dishes end up being the same. The salads and gluten free garlic bread are nice and it is a welcome change.

The kids meals are ok but should have more choice of vegetables and not be such large portion sizes. Even an older child would struggle to eat a huge calzone and because they are very nice the children always overeat and feel too full. It would also be nice to have some simple squash for the children’s drinks and free refills. We hate that Fruit shoots are always offered which do not last two minutes and then we arr pestered to buy more overpriced children’s soft drinks. We always have a jug of water as back up.

Children actually like desserts such as strawberries and cream so there are slightly healthier options than another calzone which is filled with Nutella and banana or the same old cheap ice cream. The children could also have a fruit milkshake Or similar for dessert.

We love the value provided by using the Meekat two for one deal and can have a three course meal for two adult and two children for around £40 excluding alcohol or additional soft drinks. The service has always been ok and it is not too busy outside of Friday and Saturday nights.

The toilets could do with refurbishment as are becoming worn and tatty. The children would like a full set of crayons for their menu activity sheet as they always have a broken incomplete set that means they can’t colour the pictures correctly.
