“Perfect for twitchers!”
Reviewed 28 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Very well equipped cottage in a beautiful village with an excellent pub and shop. Footpaths to Stiffkey marshes with good bird life and only a short drive to Blakeney and RSPB Tichwell. We were glad of our torch to walk to the pub as the road is narrow and without a footpath in places. We should be very glad to return. It was an excellent week's holiday.

“Great little cottage in beautifull area.”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

I stayed here for short break with my mum and 2 children. It is a lovely quaint cottage, in a lovely village, in a beautiful area. The dining kichen area is great for a family dinner together and i would love 2 go again!

Lovely little cottage, tucked away in a courtyard with others that equally as pretty but much larger. No parking but that wasn't a problem as we parked on the road at the bottom of the drive. The neighbours were really friendly and didnt seem to mind holiday goers invading their space :) The area is small and quiet, so if you're really looking to get away from it all then its ideal (although the road in August is much busier than expected as it appears to be the main route to other destinations such as Cley next the Sea, etc). The village is lovely though, with a smashing pub a short walk away that serves lovely food! The cottage is fairly small, with 2 bedrooms upstairs (one large double room and a smaller with 2 single beds) but the bathroom is downstairs so may not be suitable for those who have to get up in the night! The stairs are steep but nicely decorated with a sturdy handrail and the kitchen has been extended and thoughtfully renovated. There's no garden but there is a seating area which catches the sun most of the day/evening. All in all Stiffkey is a pretty central, quiet location, not far from the livelier town of Wells and the cottage is well equipped, comfy, clean and warm :) Can't wait to go back and explore the area some more! Thanks Natasha :) x

I travelled with my 2 boys ages 9 and 4 - we had a great time! It was perfect for access to the lovely beaches. Well equipped with everything you could need. The beds were very comfy too which can be a bit hit and miss with holiday lets!

We only stayed for 3 nights but would recommend and will definitely be back :)

Thanks

“Peaceful Retreat”

We rented this cottage as a short 4 night break. The ease and swiftness of booking was remarkable, and the owner was very prompt with replies and all booking details. The cottage itself is situated in the village of Stiffkey, a 5 minute walk from a very splendid pub, where excellent food is available. Wells is only a 5 minute drive and on a nice day, an easy walk along the coastal path which is nearby. the cottage was spotlessly clean and superbly equipped. Although on main road through village, the property is quiet and peaceful. There is ample parking roadside and no issues with traffic or noise. Ideal to get away from it. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return.
