Like all sea fronts, the one thing that can upset your sandy walk is the tide. High tides will mean the promenade is the only option, but don't be disappointed. Clean, accessible and long, it presents a good walk either way.
Enjoy.

couldn't go down onto beach as tide in on both visits, best to check on tides if a beach is what you want.

We were lucky to have a sunny day but chilly air, so decided to walk along the prom and managed to get on the sand. This is a fabulous beach especially when sea is at low tide.
Highly recommend you visit and have a stroll along this beautiful seaside which is clean and the fresh air will do you good!!

Its nice to stand and look at the sea and watch the waves from above the beach and wander along and look at the architecture of the beach huts

We went along to the final day of the Sheringham Viking festival yesterday (17th February), which ran throughout half term. A great atmosphere in town. We watched the torchlit Viking parade followed by the burning of the boat on the beach. Definitely something a bit different - as they say Normal for Norfolk! If you have young children with an interest in history this is not to be missed!
