“Very well equipped cottage in a lovely location, easy access to Broads and coast.”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Acle is a very good place to stay. The gateway to the Norfolk Broads the coast is also easily accessible. Bus and trains serve the area. The cottage is very clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed. The garden is lovely and quiet.
It is a shame the local pub is not serving food but the friendly landlord is trying to get the kitchen back to working order. The Chinese and Indian takeaways are both very good.
Would definitely return.

“Lovely cottage and garden, perfect location.”

The location of this cottage is excellent for exploring Norfolk, short distance to the beaches but also to the Broads. There is a train station, walking distance, in Acle which we took to Norwich for the day.
The cottage is comfortable, spacious and clean and the garden is private and excellent to relax in when the weather is kind.
The village has a large co op to do your shopping and a couple of nice take aways. There is also a lovely pub on the broads which is an easy walk.
We also visited Great Yarmouth, Sea Palling, Wroxham and Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park which we were really impressed with.
We had a lovely holiday and would highly recommend this cottage.

“Comfy, clean and peaceful with room to play in the garden.”
Reviewed 21 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We really enjoyed our stay in this dog-free child friendly cottage. The owners have taken the trouble to make it very comfortable, clean and uncluttered with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We went with two young children who very much enjoyed the garden with its beautiful flower beds and fruit trees. The cottage also serves as a good base for exploring the local area, such as Fairhaven Woodland, Winterton-on-Sea, East Anglia Transport Museum, Great Yarmouth and other fun days out. Acle itself has two supermarkets, takeaways, a café, restaurant, post office, church and a small playground. All in all a very good holiday venue and we hope to return.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 11 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Apple Tree Cottage is a perfect base for a holiday in Norfolk. The cottage itself is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. It is ideally situated for exploring the Norfolk Broads. We had a fab week and highly recommend a stay here. Thanks go to Alison and Simon who work hard to ensure Apple Tree Cottage is welcoming.
