Thankfully, our Tinos hosts knew about this amazing town and restaurant. Off the beaten path for most tourists, the charming village of Ktikados where Tavern Drosia is located is a gem.
Entering the terrace of the restaurant, one is immediately overwhelmed by the incredible view of the surrounding hills and the sweeping vista down to the Aegean Sea. And the food didn't disappoint, especially the starters. We had the artichoke pie which quickly became one of my personal favorites. An omelette/frittata pie was huge and delicious. We also had an eggplant starter that was very tasty as well.
For my main course I had the Cod. I wish the fish wasn't breaded and fried as the cod itself was excellent.
If we were frequent visitors to Tinos, Tavern Drosia would be on our list of favorite restaurants.
