The room was very clean. Employees were friendly and put guests first. The only disappointment was that you had to go to the lobby to get something to drink. I would like to see vending machines on each floor.

I felt the need to send a note expressing my disappointment with a recent stay at the Hyatt Place located near Polaris in Columbus, OH. We were in town for a baseball tournament and the first night of the stay was great. We were informed that the next day/night, Hyatt would be hosting an exotic car show in the parking lot and throughout the hotel. It created an extremely negative impact on our stay for the following reasons:
Car show went until after midnight with extremely loud vehicles revving all night and a very loud DJ blaring music. Made sleeping impossible
There was no place to park at hotel for guests
The hotel itself was completely trashed including elevators, breakfast area, lobby, fitness area, etc.
Heavy marijuana use throughout hotel and parking lots

My biggest disappointment is that we were not made aware of the car show in advance. This would have allowed us to potentially switch hotels. Again, I am extremely disappointed and will not likely frequent a Hyatt property in my future business and personal travels

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to various dining and shopping options. Having two queen sized bed was nice. We could see July 4th fireworks from our bed so was convenient as we didn't have to drag our 7 year old and 2 year old out. Decent hot breakfast options and indoor pool to relax after a long drive was a plus.
