Could not fault the Wren cabin, from the quality linen through to the large shower and king size bed. We are already planning a winter escape to make use of the fire
and experience the Coorong in the Winter.
I took my partner here for an early valentines and we both had the most amazing weekend away. Where do I start, we only left briefly for lunch as we had plenty to do on the property with bikes, canoes and a games room available to us. For breakfast, the most beautiful garden to get lost in, chooks for eggs, veggie patch, herbs and seasonal fruit all available to pick fresh whatever we needed.
Mik was the most lovely host, fresh bread, wine and surprise Valentine's Day chocs on arrival and very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Honesty I could go on and on!
A great start to the long weekend - arrived late afternoon at Wren cottage to be met with a warm log fire, soft music, bottle of wine and warm loaf of bread on the counter. Mik has looked after every detail with luxurious accommodation and styling - you really don't need to bring very much. The outdoor alfresco is well equipped and the games room caters for all visitors (kayaks, bikes, darts, pool table, fishing rods, etc.) The fire pit is a great social spot especially with the weather being on your side. The native / natural garden provides all the privacy you need.
Very well located for easy access to the Coorong nature spots and an easy drive to Meningie.
We think this is the best place we have stayed at in South Australia and look forward to our next visit.
