“Lovely cottage in a great rural location with very welcoming hosts.”
Reviewed 14 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I loved my stay at Groom's Cottage. it is the perfect rural retreat with vast open spaces, spectacular sunset views and great country walks - while close enough to Towcester with its wide array of shops and pubs. I especially liked the feel of the cottage in the morning when it felt like all nature was waking up around me. The cottage itself is charming, cozy, very clean and very tastefully furnished and decorated with Wifi and Sky TV. The kitchen was stocked with essentials which was a really nice touch. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that I had a great stay. Overall a lovely experience that I hope to repeat soon.

“Comfortable, well renovated accommodation.”
Reviewed 13 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Grooms Cottage provides comfortable, well renovated accommodation. We loved the secure parking (with room for car and motorbike trailer), comfortable bed and spacious en suite. There were also a few very welcome goodies on arrival. Dee was friendly, professional and most accommodating, and I'm wary to say this in case it sets a precedent, but the punnet of home grown raspberries left at our front door one evening was a lovely touch! Will definitely book again.

“Groom's Cottage: welcoming, cosy, comfortable, clean & well equipped, including a yummy food parcel”

This booking wa seamless, communication timely and informative, directions to the property were detailed and accurate. Dee warmly welcomed us to Groom's Cottage, offering us the expertise of her local knowledge supported by informative literature. We had a dedicated parking space and could relax knowing the car was secure behind the automatic gates. The cottage was delightful! It was clean, cosy and comfortable, beautifully and lovingly furnished to a high standard. The king sized bed was comfortable, the linen fresh and inviting and the supplied towels were lovely and fluffy. I loved the double shower and spacious bathroom which enjoyed views over the paddock. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with immediate supplies, including a very welcome bottle of wine! The surroundings were picturesque, quiet with an air of tranquility, stunning when the sky was lit up during a nocturnal and very electric thunderstorm one night. WIFI was a bonus especially as mobile reception was variable and Sky Sport much appreciated!
Locally there were numerous restaurants to suit most palates and budgets and of course it is in close proximity to Silverstone! We saw several shops we might have frequented had we not been watching cars for most of the day. That will wait for another time, we will be back .
