Great Pub under new management. Pete and Lisa took the Kings Head over in November and have had a fantastic impact on pub. New years eve was great with some new faces joining the party.

Very friendly locals pub opposite where I was staying this weekend, myself and my dog were made to feel very welcome and everyone was friendly , customers and staff. Good drop of beer too, all in all a thoroughly enjoyable couple of visits!

a most welcoming pub, a bit on the small side. does some very good Sunday lunches, a choice of 3 meals. good company, and a pub that welcomes dogs. I shall certainly go there again.

Great staff, always a friendly welcoming atmosphere no matter the time of day. Easy place to meet new people and make friends, along with a decent pint and fun pub activities. 100% recommendation! Great landlady :) my new local, very impressed couldn't ask for a better nearby pub!

We've got a couple of events coming up: Brexit Jukebox Requests Night on Fri 31st Jan (and requests with a Europe or leaving theme will be particularly well-received, lol) and our next Open Mic Night is on Tue 11 Feb. Hopefully you can join us.

went to meet friends for my birthday party drinks. arrived earlier and had my tea there. ham, egg and chips, followed by my favourite soft drink. Old Mout, Cherry Berry Cider. this pub is very dog friendly too. resident dog Benson greeted everyone, adults and dogs alike! great meal cooked by Steve. all staff and customers spoke to me. a very friendly pub. small but very welcoming, singles not allowed to sit on their own, soon linked up with other singles.
