Ollie and his hard working team, produced an excellent trad meal , with all the trimmings, neat tidy and clean. The staff were friendly kind and very helpful,Its a very popular sunday restaurant.

I have been visiting regularly these past few months since management was changed and it was doing loads better, better food, better service great I enjoyed it but my last visit and my visit today have again shown me why I stopped using this restaurant, my last visit I was served frozen breaded mushrooms not cold frozen! I was refunded but that's not the point how does this happen!! My visit today firstly I'm served what can only be described as a bowl of slop leek and potatoe soup,I then have my food bought out fish is dripping oil onto the table few bites its unediable chips coved in black burnt pieces from fryer, buttermilk chicken bought out sauce is always in a pot on the side nope bbq sauce it's all over my buttermilk chicken strips,no offer to change them at all just return them to kitchen( i have no idea what happened to them i was not offered them back as i had paid they were just returned to the kitchen)and then charged me again for more I honestly feel robbed and always seems these things happen when the new manager is not around.
I'm honestly completely disappointed with the service I have received and that it seems the restaurant is going down hill again maybe its time to call it a day think I will be with this restaurant.

We had a most enjoyable family lunch at the Holly Blue, on Sunday. We all had the carvery, which was delicious and very good value. The service was great, even on a busy day. We are looking forward to going again soon!

We visited The Holly Blue on Sunday to celebrate a birthday. All 9 of us had the delicious carvery with all the trimmings. It was the best we've ever had! We were impressed with how welcoming and friendly the manager and his team were to us. They were also attentive to the children, providing great colouring things to keep them occupied. What a great price for the carveries, we will definitely be returning!
