“Quaint Cottage in Beautiful Village”
Reviewed 21 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Although difficult to find, once there we found all our needs were well catered for, including a freshly home cooked cake, flowers and milk.Nagarita was friendly and extra helpful, especially to help us get internet connection. The cottage is well equipped and cosy. Youlgreave is a delightful village central to good walks and sightseeing in The Peak District.

“Pretty cosy cottage ”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Had a wonderful stay in jasmine cottage, we felt very welcomed and arrived to find a lovely cake, milk and flowers. The cottage had pretty views and great walks just at the bottom of the hill.
The George hotel served lovely food and really close to the cottage. Youlgreave is a great location to see all the highlights of the Peak District which was beautiful.
As a family we would highly recommend staying in this cosy cottage.

“Very comfortable, well located cottage”
Reviewed 20 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My husband, teenage son and I stayed at Jasmine Cottage for a long weekend in mid-October. The cottage was cosy and well-equipped and the tea/coffee/milk and homemade cake were most appreciated after a long journey. There was lots of information in the house about the local area, including a very useful booklet of circular walks around Youlgrave. Chris and Nagarita were very friendly and helpful.

“Cosy, immaculately clean and well appointed cottage in a great location.”
Reviewed 13 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My 18 year old daughter and I wanted a couple of days walking and we decided on the Peak District. We struck lucky when we found Jasmine Cottage. (It's sister cottage next door - Penny Pint cottage - looked equally delightful.) With two bedrooms, tidy kitchen and cosy living room it was perfect for our needs. Nagarita and Chris own and look after the place and are clearly very house proud. Not a speck of dust or cobweb in sight. The bathroom and kitchen were also immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable.
The central heating was fast and effective, which we needed for an hour or two in the evening.
We ate in once and cooked breakfast in the mornings and all utensils were easily found and, again, crystal clean. The location was good, on a very quiet lane with great views and a choice of gardens to sit in and we were lucky to enjoy the sunshine and view.

The Cottage is also within walking distance of three pubs in the village, two of which we tried and had good food and the people there were very friendly. There are plenty of great walks to do around Youlgreave and we also did Dovedale and Chatsworth House which were worthwhile and no distance away. We will go for longer next time and do more.

Really lovely trip in a super cottage.
