Use often for colleagues to stop - always have great feedback on rooms and food. We eat last week 2 visitors plus 2 colleagues, all thoroughly enjoyed the food and local beers! Breakfast was great and the cleaning staff as so friendly. A real gem.

Stayed for 2 nights in the suite. Massive room with large bed and sofa. Very well appointed bathroom, lovely furnishings and massive comfy bed. Pub downstairs is vibrant and friendly. Ate in the restaurant on Saturday night. We aren’t talking pub food here - excellent cuisine and therefore more expensive. If you have a large appetite, pie of the day should be on your list. I’m veggie and chose gnocchi, not a huge plateful but absolutely exquisite. It gets very busy on Saturday so book, have an early dinner and then enjoy drinks downstairs afterwards. I can imagine service gets a bit slow when the restaurant is very busy. Enjoy.

Booked a room for an over night stay, the room was not only fantastic, but the staff are amazing, so helpful and nothing is ever to much trouble, Ashley showed us to our room and seemed to take care of us for the rest of the afternoon.

We had dinner at the Harper's alps, which was so nice, top marks to the chef, once again Ashley was always at hand, making sure we were ok.

Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic Ashley, thank You so much.

We stoped off for lunch before a trip to Calk Abbey, and we we're very pleased. The environment was modern, clean and comfortable. We had Sunday lunch and a desert and the food was beautiful and to a very high standard. It was a very pleasant visit and I would happily recommend it for Sunday lunch.

Excellent food , fine dining, excellent service and atmosphere. Menu might not be suitable for families with young children. Portions were just right. Some different combinations on the menu but all dishes were great and flavours were good together. Wine can be ordered by the glass or bottle which was good for us as my daughter likes red and I like white.
