The flat is well equipped and fantastically located just minutes from the train station. Alison met us to show us round the flat, was easily contactable and helpful when I had questions after she left us to settle in. Hadfield and Glossop have everything, and Manchester is a very manageable 40minute train ride. I particularly enjoyed watching how much the scenery changed over the day, swathed in cloud, obliterated with rain, then glowing in golden sun. It was such a comfortable base to work from. If I stayed again, I might bring an eye mask to keep out the streetlight.

“Absolutely Perfect!”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed here for a reminiscing visit of local areas. It was the perfect location for this with easy reach to stunning areas of beauty within the Peak District and Sheffield City Centre.
We arranged to meet Alison to collect the keys, she extended a wonderful warm welcome. The apartment itself was very cosy with tea and fresh coffee, milk in the fridge, biscuits and jams on the table, along with clear instructions on how everything worked and plenty of leaflets and maps of local areas to explore.
Alison was in touch to let us know she was available should there be any problems, and after a contacting about a slight problem with the toilet cistern the problem was rectified within a few hours and whilst we were out causing us no inconvenience at all.
The flat was spacious and homely with beautiful views from the velux windows in the living room (even on the rainy days)
There are shops in the high street with everything you could need, including a tesco extra and an Indian restaurant (who's portion sizes were substantial) other than some food for the few days though we did not need much else, Alison has thought of everything.
The bedroom was lovely and the bed maybe a little too comfortable ;-) Just watch the low ceilings in the bedroom, my head can vouch for how hard they are.
Being at the top of the property (the reason for such amazing views) there are a few stairs to negotiate.
All in all a wonderful stay, we would definitely return and probably for longer.

“Great Apartment in a great location”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We started our visit by being late, the M1 as always! but that didn't stop Alison giving us a warm welcome, and providing all the information we needed about the property.

Once we were in the property it was clear that a lot of thought had gone in to the layout, but more importantly in to the details. The apartment is warm and cosy, with nice touches all over the place, the sofa is very comfortable, and the general standard of fixtures and fitting is good.

The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to, and fast, there are loads of DVD's and music CD's, as well as everything in the kitchen that you could need. The bathroom was well fitted out, with nice touches like a light over the mirror (sadly missing in some properties!) and the towels are of high quality.

What a comfy bed! and again nice touches to make the place feel homely.

If you arrive late, you will definitely not starve! there are shops that open late right on the doorstep, and enough takeaways to keep you going for a week!
Overall, an excellent apartment, in a good location.
