“Excellent location”
Reviewed 2 September 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Fantastic location, well equipped apartment. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of private parking. Dog friendly. Only downside being, nowhere to dry out clothing. Bathroom has excellent radiator, but that wasn't enough for 4 people's towels, boots and clothing. We were lucky with the weather, but the radiator was on pretty much all of the time. Wetter, Winter months would be a struggle, so we'll stick to summer!

“Cosy, comfortable family cottage in beautiful, peaceful landscape a stones throw from Wast Water”

We had an amazing holiday using Seatallen Apartment as our base and were so fortunate to experience absolutely amazing weather. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable family stay, including well appointed kitchen (just lacking in a washing machine but with older children this was not a deal breaker for us), family games and dvds for down time, and interesting books to read on the local area and geology. We used it as a base to climb Scarfell Pike, as well as stumbling literally out of the door to do superb walking up to Greendale Tarn and lower level walks around Wast Water. We all loved the proximity to the lake (an easy ten minute walk), and would visit it in the evenings when it was quite and tranquil. We also enjoyed trips out to Stott Park Bobbin Mill (English Heritage) and Fell Foot (National Trust) on Lake Windermere. A perfect base for us to introduce our children to the beauty of the Lake District - we'd come and stay again!

“Excellent apartment”

The apartment was all that we wanted- walks from the door, good standard of accommodation and snug and warm. The price was fantastic compared to others in the same hamlet of Greendale.
We had planned to climb Scafell (5 minute drive to car park) but our dog cut his paw on the first day so our walks were limited. The vets at Egremont were superb!
There was only 2 of us staying and we had lots of room.
Only thing that may be useful is a washing machine.
Colin is an excellent host. Everything that you need is in the cottage - washing up liquid, soap, cling film etc.
Thank you
