A group of friends and I stayed at this wonderful cottage for a weekend whilst we attended a Total Warrior event in the Lake District. The size of the cottage is fantastic, more than enough room for the 8 guests and the rest! It comes equipped with everything you could possibly need for a break away in the countryside. Amanda was very accommodating and was more than happy for us to bring our Nintendo Wii. If the Total Warrior event didn't separate the men from the boys, a Mario Kart race certainly did!
The house was spotless, which was no easy feat after some messy guests before us, but Amanda put in the time and effort to ensure the cottage was in perfect condition in time for our visit.
We had constant communication with Amanda throughout the booking process and all the way up to the day we arrived. We received a load of information on the area, places of interest, nearby pubs/restaurants. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer and had to return for work!
I could not rate this cottage highly enough. We are already discussing turning Total Warrior into our annual event so we can return again!
Thank you Amanda for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. We all had a fantastic time, and very much look forward to coming back again in the future!

Lovely house with good links to the non-touristy western Lake District. Excellent space could easily fit 8adults in the living room and around the table.
Would highly recommend a trip to Hodbarrow Nature Reserve (about15minute drive) whilst staying here.
