Nice resort, staff are excellent. Pools and lazy river are great. Food is BAD! Buffet food is cold and flavorless. Restaurants are not much better. Japanese was the only good one. Steak house was inedible. So if you want a nice Resort with great pools and bars and don't care about the food this place is for you. Overall good experience aside from the terrible food

I am glad to know how much you loved our facilities, the pools, the lazy river, the culinary experience in the Japanese Restaurat, bars and also that you found a very attentive service along the resort.

in the past i have reviewed this hotel in a positive light but as time goes by it getting worse for the average traveller as the concentrate on favouring the time share lot on everything they do

So as regular visitors to the Sirenis over the years we have noticed that the quality of service at the Sirenis has gone down to regular holiday makers. They tend to save and give the 5* service to premium club members at the expense of other holiday makers, for example

1 The quality of the food that is been offered in the restaurant has deteriorated - what was the norm once has now been saved for the premium/platinum members ie prawns, steaks etc.

2 Butter is now not available to regular holiday makers as it was before it is now a butter blend - not a fantastic problem but a blatant cost cutting exercise.

3 As coeliac it is difficult to determine what is safe and not safe due to inadequate labeling.

4 Drinks tend to be tasteless due to lack of flavoured content and excess ice - example flying gorilla used to use a banana not down to 2 pieces per drink

5 Electric trolleys usage reduced for normal holiday makers and more used for holiday club members. When questioned why trolleys are not used to travel within the hotel the reasoning was H&S. This excuse contradicts how premium club members are treated as they are delivered to their doors internally

6 A dress code should be enforced for al restaurants

7 A definite two tier holidaymaker discrimination is in force

I am sorry to learn that our service did not reach your expectations. Please be assured I took good note of your observations regarding the food; it is understandable that we cannot always be the best for everyone’s discerning tastes, however I can assure you, your feedback will be taken into consideration in order to improve our services for you and for future guests.

Please, let me to inform that we count with dress code to wear in our Restaurants. Men: long trouser & shirt with sleeves.

A wonderful hotel with a huge buffet for guests, or a-la-carte restaraunts can be booked upon request. With many nice pools, sunbeds, a beach and a lazy river; there are lots of places you can chill out and catch the sun. There is a show every evening, and lots of entertainment to be found through out the day. But what really made the visit special for us was how fantastic the staff were. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and they really looked after us during our 14 night stay.

We were at this hotel for a week this month and it was an amazing complex. All inclusive food , drinks, themed restaurants and accomodation were brilliant. No complaints at all.
The staff were the most helpful staff I have every came upon they couldnt do enough for you.
So thankyou you helped make this holiday wonderful. I will be back

My partner and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Sirenis and we enjoyed our holiday. We feel it was a little to big to offer a 5 star service but this hotel has a lot to offer.
Check in was a bit slow , we kept being told to come back as our room wasn’t ready but staff were friendly and we were given drinks on arrival. We stayed in the Naab building which was close to the beach and main pool. Room was nice and clean, although smelled a bit damp but didn’t bother us too much. Food was ok, could always find something to eat. Breakfast wasn’t our favorite. The a la cartes are lovely. We had Thai, Japanese, steak, Brazilian and Italian. The Thai and Italian were are favorites. Staff here are fab cannot do enough for you and are usually friendly , the only staff we didn’t find to be overally friendly were those in the coffee shop and ice cream parlor. The pools are lovely , 2 with swim up bars and one quiet pool. Along with the lazy river which we loved. The beach is beautiful , yes there’s a seaweed problem but this is affecting the whole riviera maya and the staff here work hard to clear it and only really affects one part of the beach. The end cove was beautiful and crystal clear most days , lovely for snorkeling. There is a lot on offer to do at this hotel , we used the jet skis and also done scuba diving but there is a lot more on offer. We visited the spa also and done the hydro therapy baths along with a massage which was lovely. The evening entertainment is brilliant , the Michael Jackson show was incredible! The wildlife here is amazing , seeing raccoons , coatis and iguanas everyday!
If your looking to do excursions I would recommend xel-ha and xplor which were amazing and we booked with the travel desks in reception. We also done coco bongo which is a fab night out.
Over all we enjoyed our stay here and would advise people to ignore the negative reviews , a holiday is what you make it and this hotel has a lot to offer!
