Just had a week here with grown up family. Loved it and felt very spoiled!
Accommodation was very comfortable and very clean. It's a BIG resort (golf cart 'trains' operate to get you about) but never a problem finding sun beds, space in the bars, or restaurant tables.
Service is friendly and very efficient. Plenty of staff in all the right places - they were all great and looked after us very well.
All-Inc deal is generous, and the buffets are good. Our deal included 3 a la carte dinners too. (Gran Tortuga and Tequila restaurants were fantastic. Mikado tepanyaki was tasty and entertaining but too late for us at a 10pm sitting)
Thought the spa treatments were a bit on the expensive side. Gym is small but OK.
Mexican Fiesta was fun and good value.
Recommend the Tulum Ruins visit - just down the road. Also the Turtles and Cenotes (with Oceantoursmexico.com) was outstanding.
Would also recommend getting a taxi into Tulum 'downtown'... About 250pesos one way. Just to see a bit of life "outside". Some nice souvenir shops there.
Thank you Bahia Principe Tulum for a lovely holiday.
Just one negative... Watch out for the timeshare sales people in the lobby (privilege club) who will 'invite' you to a special breakfast (it isn't) to show you round their great accommodation (it was just the same as ours but at the other site). Awful cringe-worthy pressure selling. More
