Our campground, Ponderosa Pines, beside Hopewell Rocks & The Tide Water restaurant gave us 20% off coupons for breakfast. The Provincial park entry fee was good for 2 day’s entry so on the second morning we ate breakfast at the cafe. After a tip from a neighbouring camper I ordered the child portion of thick pancakes (3), several pieces of bacon and plenty of home fried taters for $5.99. My hubby had the sausage & eggs adult full breakfast. It was more than enough. The service was quick & the food filing.

We had time to kill while we waited for the tide to go out and the Hopewell Rocks to reveal themselves in all their glory. It was well after lunch time but we gravitated towards this cafe.

Not a bad selection on the menus, despite the late hour. We both chose seafood dishes and liked them enough to want more. A little pricey for the size of portions offered, but there didn't seem to be much choice in the nearby.

It's self-service but still the staff managed to impress us with their friendliness.

A decent option if, like us, you are waiting for the tide.

We had lunch here and there are not many choices for vegetarians - grilled cheese and fries, that is about it. But it was good! Service was good and you can have your dog on the patio while you dine.
