Delightful path down from the parking lot, lots of sitting/viewing spots. Hike out to various cliffs to view Bay of Fundy and look for whales!

I was so fortunate to stay here during a retreat, I met the proud owners of this spot, I am fascinated with lighthouses and the owner’s passion to maintain, keep this place going will certainly impress anyone and help you appreciate this spot even more.

They also own several business in Grand Manan including a gift shop and a museum; I believe a B & B and maybe other places. Sweetest people ever.

The Lighthouse is about a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Ferry and a 5 minutes’ drive to the top of the stairs. There is about 50 steep stairs, a wooden suspended bridge, and a gravel path, before you arrive at the lighthouse. My TIP would be to take your hats off while going down the stairs or crossing the path to get the lighthouse, because it is super windy and you will lose your hat, if you’re walking at night have a head lamp of flashlight with you for your safety..

What to say it is a beautiful light house on a gorgeous rock outcropping. Always look forward to seeing it because it means you have arrived on the island.
