I stayed here in July 2017 for two weeks. I arrived late at night and was met by the lady who is in charge. She is Bulgarian and very helful but her English, like my Bulgarian is not great. There are two young girls in reception who speak excellent English, as does the friendly girl in the shop - so language shouldn't be an issue. The 'hotel' tag is a bit over the top. This is a very good apartment complex. There is a small shop which stocks anything you might require at the same price as nearby supermarkets. It is open early to late but not 24 hrs. The one bed apartment was spotless and spacious and faced the river so there appeared a degree of privacy and quiet. The various blocks circled the two pools and each block had lift access. Airconditioning only worked in the bedroom but this was adequate . An engineer did come to fix the unit in the sitting room/kitchen but was unsuccessful. The basic equipment for breakfast or drinks was provided along with a kettle, large saucepan and mini two ring cooker. There is also a fast food take away which is great value but not pushed. I found the food very good but didn't see it get much use. This lady also speaks excellent english. Cleaners came in daily for a quick tidy up. Beds were changed midweek and towels every other day. There was a washing machine I didn't use and a clothes horse on the balcony. The apartments are a short walk to the beach and to many other shops, bars and restaurants nearby. There is a bus going in the direction either of Sunny Beach or Nessebar and the stop is close by on the main road. The price is reasonable and they are usually quite packed!. There is a beautiful lake off the beaten track - ask how to access it. it is probably to the back of the apartments but the road is very busy and care has to be taken! The road beside Zorra hotel which is considered busy hasn't a patch on the road I crossed. I checked out many places but this apartment complex and location was hard to beat.

Stayed in elite4 apartments . Child (5yr) loved it with the pool and made a couple of friends . Food in the wee bar area wasn't great to be honest but everything else was great. Headed into sunny beach most evenings it was a lovely place and plenty of restaurants with good food. Busy spot and plenty of shops to look around.
Nesbar is another spot the other side of the town , its like an old style place plenty of shops and food.
For transport we used the wee train every day it runs from sunny beach to nesbar and you can get on and off where ever you want....
We went to the pirate of the Caribbean water park and it was perfect for the wee one for that age....

This is a self catering apartment complex. If you want a hotel stay somewhere else! I think the people giving out on these reviews don't understand that!!
We stayed in Elit 2; on arrival it doesn't look much from the outside, but once you walk into the complex it's lovely, the apartments surround a huge pool with 2 baby pools attached.
We were on the ground floor in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was ideal for the family; the rooms were all a good size and the kitchen had everything you needed except washing up liquid and a scrubber; There was a lift in every apartment block.
The cleaners came in every day and took away the rubbish, straightened the beds and had a little tidy up.
The staff were all lovely, most couldn't speak a lot of English, but it didn't matter!
The supermarket on the complex is really reasonably priced, we actually found it cheaper than some of the ones on the Main Street.
Being 7 months pregnant we didn't want to stay in the busier sunny beach area, here we were just outside it. Everything is within walking distance though; the beach was only a 5 min walk down the road, there were restaurants, bars and shops 2 mins from the apartments and then you could walk to the busy sunny beach area in about 15 / 20 mins; taxi was 15 lev, but that goes up later in the night.
I'd stay here again if we were looking for the same sort of quiet holiday.

We had booked a surprise trip to Bulgaria and, as a middle aged couple, were shocked to end up in Sunny Beach in an hotel in the centre of Flower Street, THE place to be in Sunny Beach. That is to say: for YOUNG people. We háted the place. Thank god, that hotel was overbooked, so we were transported to Elite 2. This aparthotel is about 2,5 km. from the centre of Sunny Beach and about the same distance from a much nicer place with an interesting history and nice old buildings: Nezebar.
The aparthotel is very basic, but clean, and the people who work there are very friendly.
It was quiet, no problems with noisy guests. We mostly had the swimming pool to ourselves. Of course, we were here in June; this might be completely different in July or August, I guess.
