As someone from the Pacific NW I’m a little picky when it comes to sushi. We ordered the specialty really rolls which were good and the sushi boat. It was okay, not the best sushi I’ve had, but a little better than average. It was located right across the street from our hotel, The Renaissance, which was very convenient for us.

Came in before 11:30 for lunch today, the food was meh and the service was absolutely disappointing.

We were the second table in the house, however it took 30mins to get the first appetizer to come out and the explanation from their manager/team leader was: we are busy now since it’s the restaurant week. Come on, The first table was eating and the tables came in after us hadn’t even order yet, and it’s not the first day of the restaurant week, shouldn’t you have everything ready before you open the door for the business?!

The Server was not attentive, forgot the soup and salad, never refilled the drink, didn’t check the food from kitchen. The main dish was ramen noodle soup, and it didn’t come out until 12:20, that’s about an hour from the time we walked in. The manager showed up again and told us “because you ordered the most complicated dish”, with a rude and defensive attitude, not even apologized for it’s bad service.

Truly an underwhelming experience, I do not recommend this place to anyone, too many choices in the area to eat.

We have been multiple times before, but it seems that it just gets better with every visit. Just one way to describe all we enjoyed: damn delicious. Highly recommend the Maki Boat for the table if you have 4 adults. Great value for some of their very best and most popular rolls. We also had the volcano shrimp. Wow. Just can’t say enough how awesome it all was. Our server was also top-notch. Terrance made sure we had all we needed and all we wanted. If you’re in the area and want sushi, you have to try Mura.

Here with two family couples for sushi dinner. Very enjoyable, excellent service. I had a Mura cocktail-light and sweet- look out, because they go down really easily, if you know what I mean! Miso soup excellent, Wife and I shared tuna and yellowtail sashimi- very good. I had Mura roll, rather bland. but enjoyable, Probably should have asked for something spicy. Others liked their rolls a lot. An enjoyable evening.

First trip to Mura was tonight for our an anniversary. We live in Fuquay-Varina (south of Raleigh) and wanted sushi. This place more than delivered on that craving. Our waiter Nolan’s was fantastic and made us great recommendations! My wife had the Mura cocktail, and wound up ordering a second because it was awesome and delicious. We had the shrimp appetizer which was piping hot, crunchy, and just the right amount of spice. Followed, we splurged on the Maki boat- 6 amazing rolls of sushi that made our tastebuds happy. Loved the screaming O roll the best, wow! One of the only times I can remember not finishing every bite, because we were stuffed. On top of that, they offered us a complimentary dessert for our celebration. Chocolate torte with ice cream!

We will definitely be back on our next special occasion.
