My husband and I were house hunting this weekend and decided to stay at this hotel.
First, the room had a full kitchen which, while we didn't use it, seemed like it could come in really handy if you just felt like eating a meal in. There is a great Harris Teeter grocery store one block away.
The breakfast, while standard for a hotel that provides breakfast, had some nice touches like greek yogurt that was in a cup that was filled halfway so you could put fresh fruit on it. There were eggs, as well as turkey bacon, as well as the usual breads, cereals and oatmeal. All in all, a very nice breakfast and well stocked throughout the morning.
We had to do a bit of laundry, so we were able to get some quarters from the front desk and they also gave us some soap. Very handy to be able to do that!
One morning, I went to the gym and expected a typical, sad, hotel gym. The gym overlooks their (very little) pool, but the equipment was new and in great shape. The equipment was gym quality and there were 2 bikes, a treadmill or two and 2 ellipticals. Pretty good!
The front desk staff was always helpful and friendly.
All these little details added up to a really nice stay. I would definitely stay there again!More
