Let me start with positives: This is a really nice cabin, well maintained and kept clean. It is secluded, which is what we were looking for. The patio was nice and really liked having a river flowing by right behind us. The fire pit was good and we used it nightly.
On the negative, the description states that this cabin sleeps 8. This is a stretch - there are 3 full size beds and 2 small couches (not sleeper sofas). That's it. So unless you plan on sharing a bed and using the couches for beds, this really doesn't sleep 8. There were 5 of us - no couples. So 3 of us took beds and 2 uncomfortably took the couches. Saying there is 3 bedrooms isn't exactly accurate. There is one bedroom with 2 additional beds located in an open loft.
Also, while there may be a valid reason for it, there were cameras all over the exterior of the cabin. I don't think there was any location outside the cabin where a camera wasn't covering us. Again, maybe a good reason for this, but would be nice to know before booking the cabin.
To get to the cabin from the main road there is about a 5 minute slow drive going over a rough unpaved road. Not a huge deal, just would be nice to know ahead of time.
Lastly, the air conditioner had a casing over it so we couldn't adjust the temperature. It was set at 73, which was OK but would have been nice to be able to adjust the it on our own. We had the ability to turn it on or off, but that was it.
Overall, I would recommend this to someone in the right situation. I think the description should be improved so you know what to expect before arriving.
