“Our week at Forest View”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

After our journey from Northamptonshire we arrived at our destination to be met by the owners Liz and Stan. We were very pleased with the standard of the caravan. It has double glazing all round and has a central heating system fitted with radiators in all rooms ( if required ). The caravan has a well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with the master bedroom having an en suite toilet and hand basin and both rooms giving plenty of storage. The bathroom is fitted with a large shower cubicle and the living room / dining area comes with all appliances you will need. On the outside the caravan has a large wooden veranda with table and chairs plus a BBQ area. Directly behind the caravan is the forest which has plenty of trails you can follow. Less than a 5 minute walk away you will find Burghead beach. Miles of lovely clean sand and clear blue water.
This is a great base for discovering the East coast of Scotland and if you travel a little further inland you can pick up the Whisky Trail and discover your favourite malt whisky.
All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely return. If you want to explore Scotland then look no further.

“5* accomodation in stunning, peaceful location.”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The owners Stan and Liz couldn't have been more helpful. They met us on arrival and showed us where everything was and told us lots of useful information about the local area and good places to visit.
We were extremely impressed by the caravan! The shower is powerful, the kitchen has pristine hob, oven, grill, microwave and utensils and the sitting area is very comfortable with excellent TV.
The holiday park itself is peaceful with friendly help available and laundry if needed.
The location is unbeatable! It is a 1 minute walk to the beach over the dunes or through the pine forest which the caravan backs onto. We walked for miles along Burghead bay often only ever seeing one or two other walkers. The beach is spotless and the water crystal clear, truly stunning. Walks through the forest are well signposted and the paths are good.
Would recommend visiting the Visitor Center in Burghead, The Harbour Inn, Roseisle Beach and nearby Findhorn Foundation.
A wonderful relaxing holiday - We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

“Beautiful place, wonderful stay!”
Reviewed 13 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had a week stay in Forest View in early August. What a lovely place to stay. The caravan is situated on a well kept, quiet caravan site. A stones throw from Burghead's sandy beach and a short walk to the harbor (a great place for crabbing!). There is a local shop in the village and a few pubs to eat out, I would recommend the Harbor Bar, the food was delicious!

We did some costal walks whilst we were there and I would recommend the walk from Burghead to Hopeman, which is about 3 miles and the beautiful scenery is definitely worth it! I would also recommend going seal and dolphin watching, you can do this with binoculars from Burghead harbor or you can take a boat trip from Findhorn, we used the company 58 degrees north and it cost £27 for adults.

All in all a fantastic trip and we will definitely be back soon!

“great location with beach and forest on your doorstep”
Reviewed 10 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The caravan is equiped to a very high standard with everything you need during your stay. We were a family of grandparents, daughter, grandson and dog, with plenty of space for everybody. Situated with a forest behind and a long sandy beach in front you don't even need to use your car. The caravan site is very quiet and welcomes pets. Nothing was too much trouble for Liz and Stan, if you needed to request anything extra it was provided.
I would certainly recommend here to anybody and look forward to returning next year.
