We have stayed here many times during the last 6 years. It remains one of the most special Hamptons. Not because of the building or rooms, or great beds/pillows. They are the normal Hampton rooms, clean, quiet, and efficient. What makes this Hampton special is the level of service and the little perks they choose to offer, like free popcorn, cookies, fresh fruit, and other snacks available in the lobby! The front desk people are super-friendly and sincere. We always love straying here and will be back. It's a good 1/2 way stop between Harrisburg, PA and Hilton Head, SC when traveling North via Rts. 26/77/81 if you don't want to drive straight through. Caution - severe road construction from Columbia, SC all the way to Lake Norman.

My wife's mother was placed in ICU and then passed away. The staff at the Hampton went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcomed. It could have been the cookies after 8 hours at the hospital or the cold bottled water to take with us the next day, we always felt comforted by the staff.

Avoid. I tried to check in while the HHonors system was down, and the front desk assured me that I could use points to cover the bill. Later that day, I got an invoice and a charge on my credit card for the full amount. I called the hotel, and the front-end manager (Deborah, IIRC) was incredibly rude and dismissive. I had to file a complaint with Hilton corporate, who promised a refund that I have yet to receive. Hotel seems decent otherwise.

We are very sorry that you experienced issues with the HILTON System. Hilton hotels do not have the capability of making your reservation using your points. Hilton has to set those up , by phone or you can do it online. We double checked with Hilton to make sure that your card was refunded, Please, feel free to contact us if the issue isn't resolved.

The accomodations were very welcoming. A little bit of Americana in NC. Employees were very friendly and helpful as we traveled through the area. Would definitely stay at this location again if we are in the area.

Checked in at 5 pm Sunday the girl at th3 front desk was terrific she printed out directions to a restaurant she said was good and she was right . There is coffee 24-7 breakfast and wonderful cookies when we checked in as she said while they last . The room was very clean and neat our only issue was the internet they sent someone to connect it and it was fine

Room Tip: If you prefer a firm pillow bring your own they have 4 on each bed but they are to soft
