This appears to be a relatively new Best Western, but they have really gone cheapo on it. Being somewhat new, it is still clean and there really is nothing wrong with the hotel but there is nothing to recommend it either.
It is not directly on the freeway, but rather on a back road off of the freeway. Traffic is bad (as is traffic anywhere near Charlotte) and it could be difficult getting into or out of the hotel because of it.
My wife and I each woke up with sore backs from the beds and her bed had a large dent in it after she got up. The bathroom layout is not good and is inconvenient. The tub is small and they didn't even spend enough money to install a soap dish/holder in the shower. The room wasn't huge but it wasn't so small either that they couldn't have gotten a chair into it for sitting, apparently that would have broke the budget.
Finally, the breakfast area is very small with few tables and chairs and some people had to eat their breakfast standing up.
I think from now on we will stay with Marriotts or Hamptons or Holiday Inns.More
