With a Groupon and senior price it was a reasonable day for group of 6.
Picnic tables to eat lots of benches and shade ! Total enjoyed everything. Not everything open like water rides cause it was spring . But I that note it was not crowded.

I visited with two grandchildren, ages 3 and 2. There is so much to do here and the staff is very helpful. There are shaded areas, sunny fields, and creative fun to be had at every turn. Our little boys loved the toboggan rides and the enormous tree house. They also really loved a musical area with instruments made from utility buckets, crates, and PVC pipe. There is a large inflated jumping area that is also very nice. Staff members were stationed at every area and helped as needed. Our boys also loved the area where there are huge wooden panels to paint. The mud kitchen as a little boy's dream, with a clawfoot bathtub full of mud, kitchen utensils, running water, and "serving areas". We did not try the paddle boats because of little legs, but there is a nice pond for those. On the day we visited, there was a firetruck on the property and the firemen were so kind and patient with the children. There is also a picnic area with a concession stand. There was also a food truck there, but we had lunch before we came so I can't offer any advice there. We also did not try the hay ride, but those run continuously. Three Bears Acres is designed with enough structure to entice, but enough flexibility to allow kids to use their imaginations.Be sure to dress your little ones in clothes that can stand getting dirty and bring something to change into for the ride home. We had a wonderful time and plan to return!

When we researched this place online it looks like a great time for kids to go and fish and do lots of activities. Our kids are 13. Our kids hated it. There was no shade and the picnic tables had trash on them. The obstacle course and the sled slide seemed unsafe. Popsicles and bottled water seemed expensive. We could go to a public park and have a much better adventure. Sorry but maybe for little kids to just run around this is a good idea but it was not what we expected.

Today was our first visit with our seven and three year old grandkids to Three Bears Acres. What a delightful day we had! Nothing high tech or adult inspired here. The kids used their own imaginations and their own bodies to have fun. We arrived at the same time a YMCA group did, so our first few hours were a bit noisy, but there was enough space and activities for everyone. The kids loved the huge inflated trampoline, and expended quite a bit of energy on it. Though the 7 year old scoffed at the mention of a mud kitchen, but she and her brother got quite creative there. There are large segments of pipe (3-4 ft diameter) for the kids to roll each other around in, and that brought out a ton of giggles. Thanks to Papa's efforts, quite a full tube of kids got rolled across the play field. After lunch at the concession trailer we headed to the tree house for some swinging, climbing and of course running and screaming. Just below that is a lovely pond and paddle boats, which we used to explore the pond, seeing many sunning turtles and several fish trying to catch bugs. The highlight for the kids was an alpine slide of sorts. Heavy duty plastic sleds, mounted on what looked like two skate boards, sped down a course, guided by PVC pipe so there can be no collisions. The speed at which we traveled was at the edge the middle aged grandmother's comfort zone, but the kids were wild about it! We brought home two sweaty, thirsty, exhausted kids, both claiming to have had a great fun. It was expensive, considering it was just a field and some woods, with simple kid friends structures and props, but not something our kids can enjoy in many places, so was worth it to us.
