The main reasons I came here was to see the wild horses. Really important...take note...THIS is the official organization that cares for the horses when they need help. Other horse tours may tell you that they give part of their income to care for the horses- but it is a lie! I had this happen to me, but as a teacher, I could tell the guy was lying when I asked him over the phone if they were the group that donated their proceeds for the care of horses (teachers know when folks are lying...remember when you were in school?). Anyway, the guides were terrific. They knew where to locate the horses in various kinds of weather and temperature and time of day. The guide, Bill, didn't give up till we'd located several bunches of horses. Two of us in the car were avid and determined photo takers and Bill turned the vehicle around so we could both get great shots. I plan to go with CWHF only every time I come. Worth every penny and then some.
