The pictures listed for this property do not do it justice. When we arrived in the late afternoon, we were both blown away by the view. We unloaded the car in record time so we could have drinks on the deck and enjoy the long range view.
This is the second property of Stuart and Melody's that we have stayed at, and it was no surprise that this cabin was also very clean and well appointed. The tv and stereo system in the living room were high quality at this cabin as well. Monday night football game was in high def, just like at home.
You can barely see 2 neighbors at this cabin, off in the distance. We have stayed at cabins right by DollyWood, where cabins are right on top of each other. Not so here. It was very quiet and peaceful anytime we went out on the deck.
Sunrises at this property are impressive. The awesome views of the mountains are always changing here, making you say WOW, more times than you realize.
There was plenty of firewood for the outdoor firepit. The gas log fireplace in the living room was the easiest one we have seen. Just turn the timer knob, and the fire lights. No gas line to turn on, no pilot to light. Very easy, and it provided a nice warmth and ambiance.
My wife and I were also impressed with the beds/mattresses here. We both have bad backs, and were relieved that these beds were as comfortable here as Stuart and Melody's other cabin.
You can stop searching now cause you have found the perfect luxury cabin. This place is amazing! We stayed in this beautiful cabin for 12 awesome nights and we didn't want to leave. This place has everything you could possibly want and more - a huge deck with an amazing view, a fully stocked cabin with everything you need and more, a hot tub, a fire pit with enough wood to last a month and the NOC just down the mountain with whitewater rafting, zip-lining, hiking, restaurants and shops! Stuart the owner was great too, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Simply amazing stay and we can't wait to go back. Thank you Stuart!
If you need to get away from it all, this is the place to stay! I could just sit look at the view all day and night long.
You are literally in the clouds every morning at Eagles Nest. The Smokies surround you, then poof they’re gone. The view is just tremendous, even the summer thunderstorms give you a show. At night, you are up in the stars and the fireflies twinkle away.
The cabin is so cute and the open concept brings the outside inside. Everything you need is in the kitchen! Grill, make S’mores at the fire pit.
If you’re not used to mountain driving, arrive in daylight. You are only about 10 minutes away from the NOC and a section of the Appalachian Trail. The restaurant on the other side of the NOC is good, there is also another place with beer and live music. Bryson City, has cute shops, a train ride and fun Brewery.
I have stayed at other mountain cabins, but this one is the best! I can’t wait to go back.
