Booked a last minute ski weekend. Room was spacious and immaculate. Just as described. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Great croissants for breakfast. Very close to the mountain. Will definitely return!

Hi all- Hotel Vienna is a must, just mionutes away from Windham and town. Rick and Amy are the owners and make you feel right at home. Stacey, the manager is very nice and mindful of area surroundings if you need something to do. The hotel has a 70's setting with large spacious rooms. They are fantastic. Brings you back in time in all of the most positive of ways. Make sure you stay and play at the Hotel Vienna. We have been there Four times in two years. Best, Christian

The hotel has a good size rooms. I stayed on the first floor, overlooking the brook and the mountains. The view is very pretty. The room has a refrigerator and a nice balcony. Though the hotel is non-smoking they allow smoking on the balcony and there was a bucket with cigarette butts there. Therefore, there was a cigarette smell in the room. The hot tub and the pool were very nice. They are located in a separate building and there are changing rooms there.
It is a nice hotel and I will stay there again.

TRyana,

Thank you for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. As there are still people who smoke, we do provide "Butt Buckets" on the balconies so there are not cigarette butts all over the property. I am sorry the bucket was not emptied, sometimes in the winter when it is cold, they do not get checked daily.
Hope to see you again soon.

The room was very nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub are very nice, and having two changing rooms and a bathroom right off the pool was really nice. Also we were there when it was snowing and it is really cool to be able to have 3 walls of windows to look out at the snow while you are in the hot tub.

The hotel is literally minutes from Windham ski mountain and also the downtown restaurants. Free coffee and cookies, a free shuttle (at least while we were there) to go to local places, and some free breakfast, although it is limited to croissants, muffins and some cereal and I think yogurt but they have a nice area to eat it in. A waffle maker would be a nice addition but hey its free.

There is a nice little family / hangout room downstairs with a few board games provided.

For those of you who are Christian, there is a really nice cute little church right next to the hotel, off the same driveway, and the people are very nice, we really enjoyed our visit there as well. It's called Hope Restoration Church.

Getting back to the hotel, a couple of minor things - the locks are still old style key locks which theoretically are not secure. We didn't feel unsafe, it's a nice little town, but these should be updated to something more modern. Also the room was a little dark, if there was one more light by the amoire it would have helped out a lot.

Overall a nice stay and reasonably priced, would definitely stay again.

Room tip: We got a mountain view and it was nice

LIDude,

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We have offered a shuttle for years, but this year the local foundation and Windham Mountain funded a town wide shuttle that runs weekends and holiday weeks from 7:30am to 10pm, taking guests not only to the ski area, but also to town and the local eateries.
We do still have keys, and most of the guests like those as key cards are known for failing on a regular basis due to electronic issues. We will look into the possibility of more light by the armoire, but that is the first time that suggestion was given.

We look forward to seeing you again real soon.

What a wonderful stay at the quaint, quiet, beautiful, well maintained, convenient Hotel Vienna near Windham Mountain. I can’t say enough about the service, cleanliness, and location of this gem hotel. My 13 yr old son and I spent 3 nights here over Presidents’ Day weekend. First, the room was awesome, with a balcony and Mountain View. The pool and Hot tub were absolutely perfect after a day on the slopes. On top of that great continental breakfast, coffee all day, and great fireplace lounge to hang. Plus-walking distance to coffee/breakfast place, convenience store, fine dining restaurants. All I can say is we had a great stay! Thank you!!!
